Tom Doak?s Renovation Proposal Approved
Littleton, Colorado – January 7, 2008 – GroundLinkx today revealed that its CourseVision 3D software had played a key role in the presentations leading to the general membership approval of a Renaissance Golf Design, Inc. renovation of the famed Cherry Hills Country Club golf course.
The CourseVision 3D software enabled members to experience a virtual fly thru of each hole or fly and hover to any view of the golf course. Key to the product’s contribution to the approval of this project was its ability in any view of the course to toggle from a “current” view of the course to a “proposed” view of the changes. GroundLinkx’s personnel worked closely with representatives of both Renaissance Design and the Club to assure that Cherry Hills’ members had an unsurpassed visual representation on which to base their decision about the proposed changes to this William Flynn classic which has hosted numerous major championships.
Bill Bergner, the President of Cherry Hills Country Club, acknowledged that “Without the visualization that CourseVision 3D provided to our members and GroundLinkx’s commitment to the project it would not have happened.”
The renovation work on this course which hosted what many think was Arnold Palmer’s greatest charge will begin in the fall of 2008 with completion schedule for the spring of 2009.
