LAKE MARY, FL – LPGA Tour Commissioner Carolyn Bivens will head a question and answer roundtable in the ING Hospitality Room at the PGA Merchandise Show next week at the Orange County Convention Center. All media attending the PGA Show are invited to attend the Q&A, conducted by the not-for-profit networking organization, the International Network Of Golf.
Bivens and two LPGA Tour players (TBD) will appear in ClubING, Room 309-A, Friday at 6 p.m. during a media cocktail reception sponsored by C-Thru Grips, the company that features clear, personalized golf grips. She will answer questions and discuss direction of women’s golf, and specifically the LPGA Tour.
Earlier that day in ClubING at 12:30, the 15th Annual ING Industry Honors Presentation Press Conference will take place. Called by many the “Academy Awards of the golf industry,” ING Industry Honors recognizes achievement in a dozen golf business categories. Former LPGA Tour player and current TV commentator Mary Bryan is the master of ceremonies.
Also taking place in ClubING is the 15th Annual ING Media Awards Presentation Press Conference on Thursday at 12:30, and the Golfpac/GolfOrlando Media Cocktail Reception and Happy Hour, featuring a presentation by short-game guru Dave Pelz at 6 p.m.
ING has been networking the golf industry since 1990. Its mission is to bring the golf media together with the golf industry to share information, test products and develop business relationships. The next conference is at the Sheraton in Atlantic City, NJ, May 27-31. Anyone in the golf industry and media is invited to participate in ING.
