G-Tech launches at the 2008 PGA Merchandise Show
NEW YORK (January 9, 2008)-Greg Norman Collection, a leader in golf-inspired sportswear, introduces a range of recycled performance products under its new category G-Tech for Fall 2008. The company’s focus with G-Tech is to lead the market with eco-friendly product without sacrificing technical fabrics that consumers are demanding.
“Rather than simply using organic cotton, we were adamant about developing an eco-friendly performance capsule that actually reduced the manufacturing impact on the environment,” says Suzy Biszantz, CEO/President. “For instance, for every pound of microfiber yarn used in constructing Greg Norman Collection’s recycled products, a half gallon of gasoline was conserved.”
G-Tech styles conserve natural resources like petroleum and reduce energy consumption by eliminating the need to produce new polyester, plus performance standards such as moisture-wicking match those of non-recycled polyester. Styles available include knits, fleece outerwear, and luxury herringbone pants from Signature Series. Consumers will reduce their personal carbon footprint by wearing G-Tech products.
Greg Norman Collection’s entire Fall 2008 line including G-Tech will be on display at booth number 6263 next week at the 2008 PGA Merchandise Show and Convention.
Built upon a unique combination of performance, luxury and style, Greg Norman Collection, a subsidiary of MacGregor Golf Company, is a leading worldwide marketer of golf-inspired sportswear for men and women, influenced by one of the world’s leading golf professionals.
