Windermere, FL.- The future could not be brighter for Golf Fitness Magazine, Inc. and the seasoned publishing team behind this fitness publication. According to publisher and owner, Steve Gomen, “It seems as if we have dialed into the right frequency and the golf world is more than ready for an entire magazine devoted to both the physical and mental side of the game, the overwhelming positive response is proof, that this is certainly the case.”
Gomen, and his team, in recent months, have not only partnered with some of golf’s finest instructors, trainers and advertisers, they have named Karen Palacios-Jansen as their Managing Editor of Golf Instruction and Auke Hempenius as their Fit Fashion Editor. “It seems that when you put out a top quality product, you attract top quality individuals to help you grow, and we have been fortunate over the last year to do just that, states Gomen.”
In addition to Palacios-Jansen and Hempenius coming on board, Golf Fitness Magazine has recently begun the launch of their free, monthly on-line newsletter that will begin in early 2008 for anyone that signs up for it. “We want our website and newsletter to be as informative to our readers as our magazine with the same “team” advice that you will find in the pages of our printed publication while also offering our advertisers another component to their marketing plan, “states Janice Stephens, Director of Business Development for GFM. “It is important that our advertisers, no matter what their budget size, can promote their product or service to our golf consumer audience, through our magazine, website or newsletter, explains Stephens.
GFM will be attending this year’s PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, FL and encourage all to stop by their booth (#1892) and meet their “team” and register to win one of 3 baskets filled with over $500 each of golf equipment and apparel.
As a national, subscription-based magazine, Golf Fitness Magazine is now available for purchase at select Borders, Barnes and Noble and PGA Superstores across the country.
Golf Fitness Magazine is now published six times per year and focuses on game improvement through better conditioning, better focus and better health. Entertaining and educational articles brought to the reader by a “team” of top golf fitness trainers, LPGA & PGA instructors, physicians and mental coaches to create a publication that any and all golfers can easily read, relate to and understand.
