GreenFix Golf is pleased to announce the appointment of Q1 Golf by Sportcover as a distributor for the GreenFix Ball Mark Elimination System. Danny Edwards, founder of GreenFix commented "Sportcover and the Q1 Golf brand are the leader in the golf accessory markets both here and internationally and represented the best fit for GreenFix. With Sportcover’s assistance we have been able to completely revamp the line, exponentially reduce cost using Sportcovers extensive sourcing experience and debut an incredible new line of Metal Divot Tools featuring the GreenFix patented depth limiting features". Ken Kennedy, President of Sportcover commented, "We have an incredible investment in traditional long tong tools including several patents. After seeing first hand how the GreenFix System works it was not a question of if we would adopt the program but how quickly we could secure the rights. I believe that the GreenFix System will have a much more profound impact on Greens than the switch from metal to alternative spikes had. If we did not sign on with Danny then we would be out of the divot tool business very quickly. We did a ton of research and talked to both believers and non-believers about this program. It was clear that the non-believers were just misinformed and did not understand the system and new methodology. The courses that have adopted it were almost cult like in there endorsement of the product. The difference it has made to their greens was astounding. I believe that it is not a question of if golf courses will sign up, it is really a question of when". Both GreenFix (Booth 4227) and Sportcover (Booth 2279) will be showing the new GreenFix line at the PGA Show and some incredible announcements regarding major endorsements are anticipated very soon.

The GreenFix Ball Mark Elimination System is the result of the first scientific study on Ball Mark repair. The GreenFix System uses divot tools with short tines and a depth limiting feature that repairs ball marks without engaging and destroying fragile roots. University studies have conclusively shown that the GreenFix System is far and away the best method of ball mark repair. Some highlights of the university findings were that ball marks repaired using conventional long-tong tools and traditional methods took an average of 38 days to repair while ball marks repaired with GreenFix tools were fully repaired in a average of 7 days. The most interesting part of the study was that an un-repaired ball mark fully healed in about twenty days, half the time of repairing with a traditional tool. Over 200 courses have adopted the GreenFix System and banned conventional long-tong divot tools
