Jungle-dweller Charley Hoffman Ready to Defend Bob Hope Title
In his PGA Tour guide personal section, Charley Hoffman, a member of the 1998 UNLV Golf team that won the NCAA title and a current Las Vegas resident, lists appearing on the nationally-syndicated Jim Rome Radio Show–known as The Jungle–as one of his major accomplishments in 2007. Another one? How about winning the 2007 Bob Hope Chrysler Classic, good for his first PGA Tour win. And so far in 2008, Hoffman has made appearance number two in The Jungle, and this week is set to defend his title over the five days of the Hope, played January 16-20 in Rancho Mirage, California.
