Versatile GPS System, Advertising Program Showcased at Important Annual Gathering
(CHANDLER, Ariz.) – ProLink Solutions — a wholly-owned subsidiary of ProLink Holdings Corp. (OTC BB: PLKH.OB) and the world’s leading provider of Global Positioning Satellite ("GPS") golf course management systems and digital out-of-home on-course advertising — will exhibit its innovative products, golf course services and advertising program at the 2008 Golf Industry Show, Booth #953, January 31-February 2 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.
ProLink’s highly versatile GPS system will be on display at the Golf Industry Show (GIS) – the world’s largest golf industry trade show designed for course owners, operators, managers, architects, builders and superintendents. ProLink executives will be available to explain the system’s numerous benefits, including food-and-beverage functions, course management tools, tournament scoring software and promotional capabilities.
ProLink personnel will also inform visitors about the company’s exclusive partnership with ABC New Media Sales. The arrangement gives ProLink access to the ABC National Television Sales force, which sells national ads on The ProLink Network. Through its pioneering ProFit plan, ProLink is responsible for all ad sales and shares the revenue with its golf course partners.
“The Golf Industry Show has proved an outstanding venue for showcasing ProLink’s superior technology and customer support to key decision-makers,” says Lawrence D. Bain, CEO of ProLink Solutions. “ProLink has introduced new on-screen features and management functions while greatly expanding its national advertising program since last year’s GIS. We’re excited to spread the word about these and other developments to the show’s participants.”
ProLink is the world’s most widely used golf cart-based GPS system and is featured at such courses as past Ryder Cup hosts the K Club and Valderrama, as well as world-class resorts including the Four Seasons Hualalai, Amelia Island Plantation and the Arizona Biltmore. In 2007, 180 golf courses installed, upgraded or renewed their leases on the ProLink system, the largest single-year expansion in the company’s history.
ProLink’s 10.4″ high-resolution color monitors broadcast vibrant, easy-to-read graphics of each hole, allowing golfers to pinpoint distances, locate hazards, navigate the golf course and place food and beverage orders with the touch of a button. In 2007, ProLink introduced a real-time sports ticker scrolling up-to-the-minute sports results from around the world as well as the SmartCart feature, eliminating theft while enhancing golfer safety and course conditions.
From the pro shop, management utilizes the ProLink system to monitor golf cart fleets and optimize operations using fully integrated, Windows-based workstations. The precise locations of golf carts, color-coded pace-of-play status for each cart, as well as cart battery levels and other wear and tear indicators are readily available. Courses engaging with ProLink report pace-of-play improvements of up to 30 minutes per round, resulting in four additional rounds per day.
