Golf Tips 2008 Annual Equipment Buyer’s Guide Is The Industry’s Most Comprehensive Resource

January 29, 2008

Golf Tips’ Annual Equipment Buyer’s Guide will feature more than 100 pages of pure equipment coverage. The AEBG can satisfy any golfer’s desire to learn about the game’s latest gear. Everything from drivers and irons to shafts, shoes and grips is covered, as well as the full range of support products, such as eyewear, handheld range-finding devices and training aids.

For more than a decade, GT’s seasoned edit staff has produced the industry’s most comprehensive guide to new products designed to inform and advise serious golfers about the latest gear. The 2008 Equipment Buyers Guide is in its final stage of production. The Golf Tips team has just returned from the 2008 PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, Fla., where PGA Professionals, golf retailers and industry executives from 89 countries gathered to launch the latest gear in golf for 2008. Over a million square feet of manufacturers displaying thousands of new products, the world’s largest indoor driving range and a full schedule press events provided the Golf Tips Editors with a full schedule of upcoming equipment coverage.

“As always, there were a number of interesting new offerings from equipment manufacturers, including a variety of high-performance shaft options, mixed iron sets, and innovative golf shoe designs. However, the biggest news in Orlando was the USGA’s announcement that interchangeable shafts will be considered legal. Several companies, including Nickent, Callaway and TaylorMade, already have product offerings ready, and many others are sure to follow suit,” said Mike Chwasky, Editor of Golf Tips Magazine.

For the equipment junky or serious player looking to add more performance to their game, the 2008 GT Annual Equipment Buyer’s Guides is a must. Look for it at newsstands March 25th.
