Junior Success Kit Provides Immediate Feedback To Help Youngsters Improve The Games And Attain Better Results On The Course
LENEXA, KANSAS (Feb 11, 2008) – Accu-Length, the leader in innovative junior golf clubs, has partnered with two other outside-the-envelope-thinking industry leaders, Dancin’ Dogg Golf and Medicus Golf, on a teaching program for younger players that has success written all over it, both in the program’s ability to improve the player’s abilities and increase their love of the game.
The Junior Success Kit gives junior golfers the ability to develop and improve their swings – along with their ability to play the game of golf – within the comfort of their own homes. The Junior Success Kit starts with a full set of the one-of-a-kind Accu-Length clubs, the only Expandable Junior Golf Clubs on the market. Add in a Dancin’ Dogg Shot Making Simulator and the Medicus Vision Track, both of which lets players envision the correct swing path for the golf clubs, and you have a can’t-miss product combination – and that’s not just talking about the results of using the Junior Success Kit.
The Success Kit was launched in conjunction with the Medicus Teaching Summit during the PGA Merchandise Show, which was held Jan. 17-19 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando.
“The Junior Success Kit provides young up-and-coming players with the ability to receive immediate feedback on their swings – both positive and negative — which is so critical to their development as golfers,” says Rick Rutter, President and Founder of OnTrack Sports, LLC. manufacturers of Accu-Length Expandable Junior Golf Clubs. “That, by itself, lends the kit to having the word ‘Success’ associated with it. By having the chance to practice as many hours as they want, in the convenience of their own homes, and as their busy schedules permit, they can succeed at playing a game which, at times, can be very difficult to master. As all golfers know, the more you’re able to practice with good instruction, the better your games will become.”
And the more enjoyable the game is for youngsters, the more they’ll want to play golf. Accu-Length Expandable Junior Golf Clubs expand that enjoyment by being properly custom fit, which also increases their joy on the links.
“The better fitting clubs that junior golfers have, the better the game will become for them,” says Rudy Duran, an Accu-Length spokesman and Tiger Woods’ first junior golf coach. “Tiger’s road wasn’t paved by having inferior products and sub-standard training aids and methods. It was paved by having only the best, which is what Accu-Length and our partners are doing with the Junior Success Kit, as well as its line of revolutionary products.”
Accu-Length intends for that to lead to the next generation of junior golf Tiger Woods followers. They don’t necessarily have to experience his greatness, just the enjoyment of the game.
“Junior golfers represent the future of the growth of golf. As they develop and mature, so will the game,” says Rutter. “Because Accu-Length Expandable Junior Golf Clubs can grow with the youngsters as they grow because of the unique spacer system that adds length to the shafts and the clubs themselves, they are the perfect product for young golfers. The United States Golf Association is determined to grow the game of golf, and so is Accu-Length.”
Last year the USGA ruled that certain forms of adjustable club shafts would now conform to the rules of golf. “Clearly, the USGA is working to help golfers play better, juniors included.” said Rutter. Accu-Length is the only junior club with multiple patents on an adjustable shaft. The ruling went into effect January 1.
The Junior Success Kit is another aspect of Accu-Length’s determination and drive to provide the best and most innovative products and programs for junior golfers, as well as to become a worldwide power in junior golf equipment.
OnTrack Sports recently announced its KIDFIT custom-fitting program that allows junior golfers to be properly fit, both immediately and in the future, with the company’s Expandable Junior Golf Clubs. Last August OnTrack Sports signed a licensing deal with Marvel Entertainment to produce Spider-Man™ Golf Sets based on the classic comic. That adds a further element of fun into the game for youngsters.
On the business front, Accu-Length has signed a distributorship agreement with Dimple, Ltd. to have its clubs sold in New Zealand. Last year Accu-Length inked pacts to be distributed in Spain by Greenside Golf, S.L.; in South Korea by Together International; and in the United Kingdom by UK Sports Services Ltd. Accu-Length was also endorsed in the UK by Young Masters Golf, an organization dedicated to the development of junior golf.
Accu-Length’s expandable club technology creates consistency in their swings for juniors that have long been so important to adult golfers. This helps junior golfers develop a repeatable swing motion and muscle memory which produces more consistent swings, resulting in straighter shots, longer hits, lower scores and most importantly, a more enjoyable golf experience for kids.
Accu-Length’s Expandable Junior Golf Clubs were ranked second – out of 16 companies – on Golf Digest’s Hot List of Junior Golf Sets, in the magazine’s August 2006 edition and ranked first in that same publication’s South Africa edition. Accu-Length clubs were also named Best New Equipment Product at the 2005 PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando.
