LAKE MARY, FL – Why is a world-renowned professional drummer delivering the conference kickoff speech at the 18th Annual ING Spring Conference? If you are lucky enough to be in the audience for Dom Famularo’s speech the morning of May 28, you’ll quickly understand.
The non-profit International Network of Golf conducts its ING Spring Conference May 27-31 at the beautiful Atlantic City Sheraton. Anyone in the golf industry and media is invited to attend this annual gathering of golf media and business leaders to exchange information, display product and develop and nurture business relationships.
Helping to kick off the week in a positive and energetic way is Famularo, the author of, "The Cycle of Self Empowerment." He has toured the world performing motivational speeches that always end with standing ovations. He has a unique, breezy style, blending a mix of humor, story telling and philosophy. His unique mix of talents – drumming and motivational speaking – has two common threads: passion and intensity.
Famularo’s speech is the first of several educational, motivational and business-improvement sessions planned for the ING Spring Conference. The lineup includes:
1)The ever-popular One-On-One Appointment Show, a series of private meetings between exhibitors and media to open lines of communication, create unique promotional programs, gather story materials and build relationships.
2)The State Of The Industry Panel. Industry leaders Joe Steranka (PGA of America) and Mike Hughes (NGCOA) will be joined by others to bring our attendees up to date on the current state and direction of the golf business.
3)The Demo Lab will feature two dozen companies displaying their latest equipment and training gear on the practice range and green at the Marriott Seaview Resort.
4)The International Pairs World Qualifier. A two-player team that wins this 18-hole net points competition at Atlantic City Country Club will represent ING and the USA in the International Pairs World Finals in Scotland in September, an expenses-paid trip.
5)The ING Fashion Show. ING members will take to the runway as models, sporting the latest and greatest fashions from some of the industry’s top apparel companies.
6)Education and self-improvement programs galore, from communication, to marketing, to use of the Internet. There is something for everyone.
