FORT WORTH, Texas – UST® (United Sports Technologies), the industry-leading innovator in graphite shaft technology, announced today the sale of its high-end ACCRA® shaft brand to Canadian-based Premium Golf Management Company (PGMC).
Per the terms of the sale, PGMC acquires all inventory, trademarks and distribution rights for ACCRA and assumes responsibility for both tour support and OEM sales. UST will continue to design, manufacture and ship graphite shafts for the ACCRA brand.
“PGMC has been the exclusive ACCRA distributor for UST since 2004, primarily selling though a network of more than 250 seasoned clubfitting experts throughout North America,” explains Gene Simpson, senior vice president of UST. “PGMC has done a terrific job of building a ‘certified dealer’ network,” he adds, “and will continue to act as distributor for UST brands in Canada.”
Simpson noted that the sale was finalized over this past weekend, and effective today, February 11, 2008, all requests for information or orders for ACCRA shafts will be forwarded to Dave Makarucha at PGMC at 613-389-3149 or sales@accragolf.com.
