#1 Brand on Tour Wins WGC-Accenture Match Play
Marlborough, MA-February 25th, 2008- CHAMP Spikes, the number one brand on Tour, continued its whirlwind start to the 2008 season with another successful weekend as the world’s top ranked player turned up his game to capture his third victory of the year.
The WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship saw three of the final four players wear CHAMP Spikes. The winner once again chose CHAMP’s Wafer Lite™ spike, made exclusively for all shoes utilizing CHAMP’s patented Q-LOK System®. He ended the tournament with an 8-and-7 victory to capture the title for the third time in his career.
CHAMP Q-LOK System is the quickest and most reliable fastening system on the market today. The Q-LOK System, currently utilized by Nike, Hi-Tec and ECCO, is a threadless fastening system where all Q-LOK spikes can be secured with a simple quarter turn clockwise and removed with a quarter turn counter-clockwise.
