POWAY, Calif. – Using Aldila’s new DVS™ in her driver and their Pink NVS™ in her 3-wood, Paula Creamer birdied four of her last five holes to capture the Fields Open at the Ko Olina Golf Club in Kapolei, Hawaii. Creamer, who joined Aldila’s Advisory Staff in 2005, came from behind and closed with a bogey-free 6-under for a 16-under 200 total to set a tournament record for a winning score by two strokes.

“I went out and won the tournament on the last three holes,” Creamer said. “But three holes have always been something that my dad and I have talked about, the last three holes. I knew I had to make some birdies down the stretch and those were three good holes to make birdie on.”

The win was Creamer’s second in her last four tournaments dating back to the end of the 2007 season when she won The Mitchell Company LPGA Tournament of Champions.

Aldila’s new DVS shaft features an innovative, new responsive tip design for extra kick at impact with an optimum launch. Stabilized with a unique flex profile and very low torque – distance is maximized. Aldila’s revolutionary Micro Laminate Technology™, enhanced with carbon nanotubes, provides for perfect feel. High performance technology harnessed and perfected into a special blend of weight, torque, flex and feel.

“Aldila first introduced their revolutionary Micro Laminate Technology™ in the Aldila NV™, then enhanced in the VS Proto™ and is now perfected it in the DVS™,” said Stewart Bahl, Aldila’s Marketing Manager. “By incorporating ultra-thin, aerospace grade carbon fiber with carbon nanotubes, Aldila engineers have taken golf shaft technology and performance to the extreme.”
