(Windermere,FL)- With the March/April issue of Golf Fitness Magazine ready to hit newsstands and mailboxes the first part of March and the overwhelming success of the first PAR Ranking (Performance Apparel Ranking) that was featured in the January/February issue of Golf Fitness Magazine, GFM Style Editor Auke Hempenius has announced the remaining Style/Fit Fashion Features for GFM for the remainder of the year.
“With the success of the P.A.R. rankings in January, and the awards presentation at the 2008 PGA show to the winners Ahead,Tehama,and Dunning, we were extremely pleased with the participation that we received from the apparel companies and the great feedback from our readers, with that we have decided to focus our “Performance Apparel” features around the latest and greatest trends in apparel, accessories and shoes for men and women golfers for the remainder of the year, explains Hempenius. “We will be highlighting trends in performance and endurance fashion for the serious and not so serious golfer-that is fashionable, but that also works with their lifestyle.”
“Our readers not only care about how they perform on the course, but how clothes, shoes and accessories perform and enhance their ability to play comfortably… and with style,” explains Golf Fitness Magazine’s V.P. and Senior Editor Kristi Gomen, “our readers and the apparel companies have embraced us full force and so we want to continue to inform our readers and promote the latest and greatest in performance apparel from head to toe,” explains Gomen.

The May/June issue will feature the PAR (Performance Apparel Ranking) for the best new technology in golf shoes for men and women. All submissions are due no later than March 17th, 2008; -a panel of judges consisting of 2 men and 2 women golfers will be testing and judging the shoes on and off the course. Shoe sizes for men must be size 9.5 and 10; shoe size for ladies must be size 8 and 9. All entries must be received no later than March 17, 2008.
