#1 Brand on Tour Wins HSBC Women?s Champions
Marlborough, MA-March 3rd, 2008- The number one ranked female golfer in the world paired up with the number one spike brand on Tour as she kicked off her 2008 Tour season with a dominant victory at this week’s HSBC Women’s Champions at Tanah Merah Country Club in Singapore.
Weather and unplayable conditions hindered the players throughout the tournament, but the eventual winner, along with many other players turned to CHAMP Spikes and the upgraded Scorpion Stinger™ which kept them grounded on the wet terrain. Traction was never an issue for the champion as she finished her 20-under-par, wire-to-wire victory by an 11-stroke margin. CHAMP outfitted half of the leaderboard’s top 20 finishers.
