Print And On-Line Will Be Major Components Of Campaign
DENVER, March 4, 2008 — YES! Golf will continue to be aggressive in 2008 with a strong advertising campaign designed to reach millions of avid golfers around the country through an integrated national print and on-line ad strategy. The company’s new ad campaign promotes its popular C-Groove technology line of putters, including the six new models that were recently introduced at the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, Fla.
Coming off a very successful 2007 featuring 28 worldwide tour wins, including wins on all of the major tours, and record sales, YES! Golf will continue to grow the brand and generate product demand for retailers with an aggressive media schedule. The new YES! Golf ads will begin breaking in the March issues of the golf weekly magazines and April issues of the core golf consumer monthly magazines.
An on-line component will be added this year with banner advertisements on popular golf websites. The campaign will also be fully integrated with the company’s website and in-store point of sale materials.
“We are very excited to take our advertising campaign for 2008 to the next level,” said Francis Ricci, CEO and President, YES! Golf. “Advertising is only one component of our overall marketing program, however, it is the most visible among golfers and retailers. The feedback we received from both our customers and retailers last year made it an easy decision to increase our presence and reach in 2008. With a strong advertising campaign combined with tour presence and demo days around the country, we are looking forward to another record year at YES! Golf.”
The new campaign dubbed “Question and Answer II” is a continuation of last year’s proactive direction that highlights YES! Golf’s success on tour. It also puts a strong focus on how C-Groove technology works to significantly improve golfers’ putting. The campaign, designed by Boston-based Kelley & Company & Etc., will use a series of thought-provoking questions in four-color spreads and single page ads to communicate the company’s unique position in golf; an ever-increasing number of professionals using YES putters, without receiving lucrative endorsements.
YES! Golf, based in Denver, Colorado, is the proven leader in grooved putter technology. Harold Swash, known as the European putting doctor, introduced the innovative theory of concentric grooves in 1995. Today, C-Groove putters are taking the golf world by storm making Yes! Golf one of the fastest growing putters on the professional tours. For more information on Yes! Golf call 800.845.4327 or visit www.yesgolf.com.
