LAKE MARY, FL – Want to learn about the latest ways to market your product or service by e-mail? Or how to get the most out of your advertising buys? Maybe you would like to become a better writer. Those and other topics will be discussed during the Small Groups Topics Breakfast, part of the 18th Annual ING Spring Conference. This annual gathering of golf media and industry executives and leaders is set for the Atlantic City Sheraton in New Jersey May 27-31, 2008.
Anyone in the golf industry is invited to join ING and attend this important conference, unique to the golf business. The non-profit International Network Of Golf conducts the conference.
The topics breakfast will be Wednesday morning, May 28 at the Sheraton, which is located at the Atlantic City Convention Center, just three blocks from the famous Atlantic City Boardwalk. Attendees will choose among 15 discussion topics, each of which will be led by an expert in the field. The discussion will take place over breakfast.
The Small Groups Topics Breakfast is just one element of an action-packed ING schedule. the ING Spring Conference, including several educational, motivational and business-improvement sessions.
The lineup includes:
1)The ever-popular One-On-One Appointment Show, a series of private meetings between exhibitors and media to open lines of communication, create unique promotional programs, gather story materials and build relationships.
2)The State Of The Industry Panel. Industry leaders Joe Steranka (PGA of America) and Mike Hughes (NGCOA) will be joined by others to bring our attendees up to date on the current state and direction of the golf business.
3)The Demo Lab will feature nearly two dozen companies displaying their latest equipment and training gear on the practice range and green at the Marriott Seaview Resort.
4)Motivational speech by world-renowned drummer and speaker Dom Famularo.
5)The ING Fashion Show. ING members will take to the runway as models, sporting the latest and greatest fashions from some of the industry’s top apparel companies.
6)Education and self-improvement programs galore, from communication, to marketing, to use of the Internet. There is something for everyone.
7)The International Pairs World Qualifier. A two-player team that wins this 18-hole net points competition at Atlantic City Country Club will represent ING and the USA in the International Pairs World Finals in Scotland in September, an expenses-paid trip. Plus two other golf events, including the Durland Cup at Harbor Pines Golf Club, will be held.
