LOUISVILLE, KY (March 6, 2008) – Black golf gloves are “in” for men and Bionic® has added them to its high-tech golf glove lineup.
“Other glove companies focus on fashion while we are the leader in golf glove performance,” said Bionic Golf marketing director Cheryl Fink.
“While the original Bionic Golf Glove with white cabretta leather and black accents has always been considered attractive and distinctive, golfers know Bionic first and foremost as the glove with technology; technology that provides comfort and unmatched performance.
“Now, with the new black Bionic Golf Glove for men, we’re also being recognized for a great masculine look as well.”
Patented and patent pending Bionic™ Golf Gloves are the only golf gloves designed by a leading orthopedic hand specialist, Dr. Jim Kleinert. They scored an amazing 96% approval rating on the PGA Tour Partners Member Test, receiving the organization’s coveted Seal of Approval.
“We added the new black golf glove because of customer demand,” Fink said. “It has the same great technology as the original white glove with black accents. It’s just a little more understated.
Bionic Golf Glove loyalists prefer Bionic because it gives them a firm but light grip. That creates less tension in the hands, wrists, forearms and shoulders and allows for increased swing speed and greater distance. Bionic’s patented anatomical relief pad system also provides better club control than standard gloves, helping golfers hit straighter, more accurate shots.
“No other glove company has studied hand anatomy and function like Bionic,” Fink said. “We’ve worked with one of the world’s top hand specialists to design ergonomic gloves that work with the hand rather than against it like other golf gloves.”
And now they come in black!
BLACK GLOVES NOT A FASHION FIRST FOR BIONIC WOMEN’S COLORS ADDED IN 2006 HAVE BEEN A HIT!
Black gloves for men are not high-tech Bionic’s first response to customers seeking gloves with different looks. Bionic partnered its unmatched performance with fashion in women’s golf gloves more than a year ago.
“Women golfers want performance as much as the men,” Fink said, “but the ladies also want to look good and have gloves that can match their complete attire.”
Bionic added Lycra color schemes in pink, light blue and champagne to accompany the all-white glove. The women’s line-up also includes a special pink ribbon glove, whereby a portion of the proceeds of the sale of every glove is donated to the American Cancer Society for breast cancer awareness and research.
Bionic Golf Gloves retail for $24.95 and are available in golf pro shops, golf retail stores and online at www.bionicgloves.com.
