Sanford, FL – Rife Putters would like to congratulate the winner of the Toshiba Classic for his hard fought playoff victory this past weekend on the Champions Tour. This was the first time he put the Rife Two Bar Hybrid putter into play…the result…an impressive playoff victory against a very tough field at The Newport Beach Country Club!
He had a solid week of putting (T-7th Putts Per Round), highlighted by his round on Saturday where he recorded only 24 putts. On Sunday, he drained a clutch 12 footer on the 54th hole to force a playoff. The new Rife Two Bar Hybrid never let him down. He sank putt after putt and finally captured victory on the 7th hole of a hard fought playoff. This is another great win for Rife Putters on a golf course that puts a premium on putting. Newport Beach Country Club has some of the most difficult greens in the country…the RollGrooveTM Technology of the Rife Two Bar Hybrid made them look average!
Rife ranked 1st on the Darrell Survey again this week with 20 putters in play. In addition to capturing their second victory on the Champions Tour this season, Rife also had 5 players finish in the Top 10 at The Toshiba Classic, totaling over $592,000.00 in earnings at the event.
Week in and week out several players on the PGA, Champions and Nationwide Tours rely on Rife’s RollGrooveTM Technology to earn their paychecks. With over $25 Million in earnings and no endorsed players, its obvious that Rife Putters has found that for the Tour Players, winning is everything.
About Rife Putters
All of Rife’s Putters, including the new Two Bar Hybrid, are high-end CNC milled putters that offer the same patented RollGrooveTM Technology and patent pending Lie-Aline System.
Rife Putters, LLC is the true innovator behind horizontal grooved face putter technology with a patent on specifically sized grooves since 1997. These precisely spaced grooves allow the putter to gently press into the cover of the ball and grip and lift it into an instant forward roll. Guerin Rife states, "just as grooves in irons help control spin so do grooves in a putter face." Other companies are now trying to imitate this patented technology but the spacing of the grooves is the true key to the gripping and lifting effect of grooved face putter technology. Horizontal RollGrooveTM faced putters create the truest "no skid" roll in golf no matter where you hit the ball on the putter face.
