Monday Qualifier Derek Lamely Uses His ?Zeus? Powered Driver to Make The Cut, Play the Weekend and Earn His Biggest Ever PGA Tour Payday!
Lake Charles, LA, March 12, 2008 – RT Technologies (www.rttechnologies.net) announced that its “Zeus” driver shaft was used by Derek Lamely during last weekend’s PGA Tour event, the 2008 PODS Championship, which was held at Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club in Tampa Bay, Florida. Lamely shot a 66 on Monday to qualify for the event and played well enough on Thursday and Friday to make the cut en route to his biggest PGA Tour paycheck. Lamely also battled adverse weather conditions with his Zeus powered driver to earn the top spot of the Driving Distance category for the weekend at a 296 yard average over the four day event.
“I can’t say enough about the Zeus shaft in my driver,” Lamely commented. “It was really tough out there and, of course, I was pretty nervous with a lot at stake.
