Gogie Girl is offering a pink and white style from their Dottie line to bring awareness of breast cancer and a teal and white style for ovarian cancer. It is the mission of the company to give back and support non-profit organizations and not simply through publicity events.
For co-founders Vicky Waldorf and Cindy Gilmore, this is a very personal commitment.
“Gogie Girl will donate a portion of the proceeds from these two hats to support the research for and families effected by these two devastating diseases,” said Waldorf. “My family has a history of ovarian cancer and I know personally the effect this terrible disease can have on a person and a family. Moreover, both Cindy and I are in our mid-forties and we both have a daughter. We really want to get this message out there.”

“Gogie Girl is thrilled with the interest for our cancer awareness hats,” said Waldorf. “Awareness and education are so important in fighting these illnesses. A lot of tournaments have ordered both hats to support the cause.”
