The World?s Number One is Five for Five with Nike?s New ONE Ball
Tiger Woods’ amazing performance of a perfect season is still in progress after Woods sank a climactic 25-foot birdie putt on the final hole to win his fifth straight PGA Tour event at the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill. This also marked his sixth overall win around the world, and his seventh including last year’s unofficial Target World Challenge victory. The Bay Hill title was Woods’ 64th on the PGA Tour, tying him for third place on the all-time list with Ben Hogan, trailing only Jack Nicklaus (73) and Sam Snead (82).
Woods’ win at Bay Hill also represents his fifth straight win with the new Nike ONE Platinum Ball featuring Nike’s innovative Power Transfer Technology. With the help of his new Nike ball, Woods currently leads the PGA Tour in Greens in Regulation ratings with 75%. Also benefiting from this new Nike ONE technology evidenced by their Greens in Regulation rankings on Tour are Nike Golf Tour staff members Justin Leonard, who is ranked second at 74%, K.J. Choi, who is ranked third with 73.46% and Stewart Cink, who is ranked fifth with 72.96%.
