BOULDER, Colo. – One of the world’s fastest growing steel shaft manufacturers, FEMCO Steel Technology (FST) announces it has completed an agreement with Proavance Corporation of Japan to be the exclusive agency and distributor of the new KBS Tour steel golf shafts in Japan.
Under the new agreement, Proavance will have marketing/ sales responsibility and provide promotional and technical support for the Japan Tour. Proavance, formerly Precision Japan, has more than 25 years of experience in premium golf component sales in Japan. The company displayed and demonstrated the high performance shafts for the first time at the 2008 Tokyo Golf Fair held last month at the Tokyo Big Sight Exhibition Center.

Designed for better players, the KBS Tour shaft was engineered to increase stability from ‘grip to clubhead’ to enhance well-executed swings. By reducing the mass and radius of each step in equal proportions along the shaft’s center line, the KBS Tour shaft delivers optimum stability resulting in efficient energy transfer from the player’s hands to the clubhead. The KBS Tour shaft incorporated step-by-step Moment of Inertia analysis to reduce shaft ‘interference’ during the swing.
