Player’s Pass will be working closely with the Golf Galaxy Golf Tour in support of its overall mission to grow the game of golf at the grass roots level. Until recently, Player’s Pass was sold primarily by high school student athletes as a fundraising vehicle. Now, with the establishment of the direct marketing program, the general public can receive those same discounts by purchasing a Player’s Pass membership through the website at www.playerspass.com, at golf retail outlets and golf courses in numerous cities.
Golf Connect, as the Official Promoter of the Golf Galaxy Golf Tour provides a “Real Tour for the Average Golfer”. Operating in more than 60 cities in 2008, the Golf Galaxy Golf Tour is the largest network of amateur golf tournaments in the United States. Sponsored by Golf Galaxy, Callaway Golf, PGA Tour Partners, Player’s Pass and Golf Magazine, the tour is designed to give golfers the opportunity to participate in competitive tournaments on great local golf courses on a local, regional and national basis. There are no mandatory membership fees to play on these tours; simply choose an event, invite some friends to compete along with you and play “on the Tour”
