GolfNow.com Trivia Show Celebrates Master’s Week

PORTLAND, ORE. – (April 1, 2008) – GolfNow.com, the largest online tee time retailer in the United States is excited to broadcast the first of four special GolfNow Trivia Show themed-weeks highlighting the 2008 Majors. Each daily GolfNow Trivia Show during the week of April 7 -11, 2008 will focus its prize giveaways and trivia questions on the upcoming Masters at Augusta National.

The GolfNow Trivia Show, which airs every weekday with Host Keri Murphy, will award more than $1,000 in prizes. In addition to each daily prize, every winner will be given both the 2008 Master’s Media Guide, the definitive source on the historical and present-day Masters; and an official Bobby Jones golf glove.

Lucky winners could also receive prizes including: framed course layouts of Augusta National; a handmade replica of Bobby Jones’s Calamity Jane putter, one of the most famous putters to date; a signed open edition print of the 12th hole at Augusta, named Golden Bell; various books containing historical accounts of the Masters; and a framed photograph of the premier program of the 1937 Augusta National tournament.

Later in 2008, the GolfNow Trivia Show plans to host three more trivia-themed weeks to celebrate the remaining 2008 Majors.

“Last year, every week of trivia was focused on a theme,” said John Keel, director of video production for GolfNow.com. “This year, we decided to change it up and we are placing special attention to the Majors. We are also giving away more these weeks then any of our prior themed trivia weeks.”
