PEBBLE BEACH – NCGA Golf, the magazine of the Northern California Golf Association, will release its spring edition April 10. The magazine is mailed into the homes of the more then 175,000 members of the association as well as to each member golf course. The publication will also be sold in more than 60 bookstores and newsstands up and down the West Coast.
Features include a cover story on Stonebrae CC, a new David McLay Kidd private course laid out on the highest ridge in east San Francisco Bay. Also included are travel stories on Pinehurst, Maui, Scotland and driving to the U.S. Open at Torrey Pines. The travel features are augmented by the usual array of departments such as a Q & A with Michelle Wie as well as a point/counterpoint that debates whether California or New York
has the better venues for hosting the U.S. Open.
The magazine’s cover price is $3.95 but is free to NCGA members as one of many member benefits. More information on the NCGA and NCGA Golf is available through the association’s website, www.ncga.org.
