Sanford, FL – RIFE Putters captured a Top 10 Finish on the PGA TOUR this past weekend at the first Major of the 2008 season, the Masters. Since making the switch to a RIFE Barbados putter a few weeks ago at Doral, the T-8th Place Finisher has now captured his first PGA Tour Victory, The Zurich Classic in New Orleans, and a Top 10 Finish at the first Major of the year. Using his Barbados putter, he fired rounds of 72, 72, 70 and 73 to finish at -1 for the event and earned a paycheck for $217,500.00.
This is the 3rd year in a row that RIFE has had a Top 10 Finish at The Masters, with a T-5th Place Finish in 2007 and a T-3rd Place Finish in 2006.
“To say the greens at Augusta are challenging is a bit of an understatement,” said Matt Molloy, President & CEO of RIFE Putters. “Speed and distance control can be the difference between making birdie or double bogey. Based on the finishes we’ve had over the past few years, it appears our RollGrooveTM Technology has them figured out.”
Week in and week out several players on the PGA, Champions and Nationwide Tours rely on RIFE’s RollGrooveTM Technology to earn their paychecks. With over $28 Million in earnings and no endorsed players, its obvious that Rife Putters has found that for the Tour Players, winning is everything.
About RIFE Putters
All of RIFE’s Putters, including the new Two Bar Hybrid, are high-end CNC milled putters that offer the same patented RollGrooveTM Technology and patent pending Lie-Aline System.
RIFE Putters, LLC is the true innovator behind horizontal grooved face putter technology with a patent on specifically sized grooves since 1997. These precisely spaced grooves allow the putter to gently press into the cover of the ball and grip and lift it into an instant forward roll. Guerin Rife states, "just as grooves in irons help control spin so do grooves in a putter face." Other companies are now trying to imitate this patented technology but the spacing of the grooves is the true key to the gripping and lifting effect of grooved face putter technology. Horizontal RollGrooveTM faced putters create the truest "no skid" roll in golf no matter where you hit the ball on the putter face.
