HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA…Cleveland Golf professional Boo Weekley won for the second time on the PGA TOUR at the 2008 Verizon Heritage, in Hilton Head Island, S.C., where he was the defending champion. Weekley, who had posted seven straight rounds in the 60’s, dating back to his 2007 victory at the event, finished Sunday with an even par 71 to seal the victory with a final score of 15-under 269. Weekley, who signed an endorsement agreement with Cleveland Golf in 2005, played on the Nationwide Tour from 2005 through 2006 before earning his PGA TOUR card in 2007.
