47th Playing of Prestigious Tournament to be Contested on Award-Winning, Castle & Cooke-Owned Golf Course in the Central Sierra
(COPPEROPOLIS, Calif.) – Saddle Creek Resort – the gated, 900-acre Castle & Cooke community in the scenic Central Sierra foothills – will host the 47th playing of the Northern California Golf Association Senior Championship, May 5-6.
FORMAT: 36 holes stroke play, 18 holes per day. First starting time each day will be 7:30 AM. Contestants will play from the Black tees except on hole No. 14 where play will be from the Blue tee on Monday and White tee on Tuesday. There will be a play-off to determine first or second place in the Senior and Super Senior Divisions. If a play-off cannot be conducted (decision of the Committee and golf course) the USGA method of matching cards will be used.
