DENVER, May 5, 2008 – YES! Golf had another outstanding week on tour with a win on the European Tour, third place finish on the LPGA Tour and 49 putters in play between the two tours.
At the European Tour’s Open de Espana in Spain, YES! had 24 players using the C-Groove putter including the winner who used a Marilyn putter. The popular Marilyn putter is a face-balanced cavity back mallet made with a 304 soft stainless steel head featuring three squaring lines for alignment. The putter also has a double bend shaft. YES! Golf’s usage has been very consistent on the European Tour this year, averaging 25 players per week using a C-Groove putter.
On the LPGA Tour, Jeong Jang finished third at the SemGroup Championship in Broken Arrow, Okla. In addition to Jang, 24 LPGA players used a C- Groove putter last week. Jang rolled in 12 birdies with her Abbie putter. The Abbie putter is a traditional weighted blade putter made of 1025 soft carbon steel, with a head weight of 350 grams and features a single sight line in the cavity for alignment. The putter has a straight shaft with a slant neck hosel. The Abbie putter made the 2008 Golf Digest Hot List.
