Sanford, FL – Rife Putters would like to congratulate Denis Watson on his victory this past weekend on the Champions Tour at the FedEx Kinko’s Classic held at Hills Country Club in Ausitn, TX. Watson rolled his RIFE 2 Bar Mallet to a birdie on the final hole to capture a one stroke victory. It was the 2nd win of 08′ for Watson and the 4th win of the year for RIFE Putters on the Champions Tour. Since switching to a RIFE Putter in 07′, Watson has won 4 times using his Rife, including last years Senior PGA Championship. It was also fitting that Watson finished #1 in the putting stats for the week averaging only 1.564 putts per green.
Completing the trifecta, RIFE Putters won the Darrell-Survey putter count with 27 total putters in play, an astonishing 14 putters ahead of its nearest competitor. Rife had 5 players finish in the Top 10 at the FedEx Kinko’s Classic, totaling over $710,365.00 in earnings, which accounted for over 33% of the total prize money available for the event.
On the PGA Tour, RIFE had 4 putters in play at The Wachovia Championship and captured a Top 25 Finish as well. RIFE’s Barbados putter dominated the putting stats for the week as one Tour Player used his Barbados to finish 2nd in putts per round and 3rd in putts per green averaging 1.639 and another finished 5th averaging only 27.5 putts per round.
Week in and week out several players on the PGA, Champions and Nationwide Tours rely on Rife’s RollGrooveTM Technology to earn their paychecks. With over $30 Million in earnings and no endorsed players, its obvious that Rife Putters has found that for the Tour Players, winning is everything.
About Rife Putters
All of Rife’s Putters, including the new Two Bar Hybrid, are high-end CNC milled putters that offer the same patented RollGrooveTM Technology and patent pending Lie-Aline System.
Rife Putters, LLC is the true innovator behind horizontal grooved face putter technology with a patent on specifically sized grooves since 1997. These precisely spaced grooves allow the putter to gently press into the cover of the ball and grip and lift it into an instant forward roll. Guerin Rife states, "just as grooves in irons help control spin so do grooves in a putter face." Other companies are now trying to imitate this patented technology but the spacing of the grooves is the true key to the gripping and lifting effect of grooved face putter technology. Horizontal RollGrooveTM faced putters create the truest "no skid" roll in golf no matter where you hit the ball on the putter face.
