HARVEST, Ala. (May 7, 2008) – Balance-Certified Golf, developer of the number one shaft weighting system on Tour, finishes April’s Tour support activities with multiple successes. Balance-Certified introduced its latest technology, the “Shaft StabilizerTM, at the 2008 PGA show and the new technology has recently made its way into several Tour players’ bags.

Balance-Certified Golf’s staff player Scott Hoch earned two second place finishes on the Champions Tour to strengthen his Charles Swab Cup standings to 820 points, 91 points out of the lead. He finished second at The Outback Steakhouse Pro-Am and The FedEx Kinko’s Classic. He has won twice already this year.

Tom Jenkins, another Balance-Certified Golf staff player, finished fifth at the Outback Steakhouse Pro-Am tournament as well. His winnings have increased to $7,162,580 since he began using Balance-Certified’s technologies in early 2002. He has won 5 times and finished in the top ten 57 times with Balance-Certified equipped clubs.

Over on the Nationwide Tour, Balance-Certified picked up ten new players during the last two tournaments alone. Balance-Certified VP and head Tour representative John Cranston noted, “We picked up a win along with 4th, 9th, 24th and 32nd place finishes over the last two weeks. We are very pleased, to say the least.”

Balance-Certified began supporting the Duramed Futures Tour just a few weeks ago. In the last two tournaments, Balance-Certified equipped clubs have been used to finish 2nd, 7th, 17th, and 24th. In fact, Balance-Certified picked up seven players at one tournament alone. The player that finished 2nd moved from 58th to 8th on the Duramed Futures Tour money list.

“We heartily congratulate all of the players that choose to use our technologies, especially Scott and Tom,” said Jeff Lindner, president of Balance-Certified Golf. “Scott and Tom are both longtime users of Balance-Certified Golf’s technologies and have recently helped us to refine our new Shaft StabilizerTM designs significantly. Lindner added, “The only issue we have now is keeping our manufacturing capability up to meet consumer demand.”

Balance-Certified Golf’s industry-leading back-weighting technology was developed by a former NASA engineering team in 1999. The Pro-Balance line introduces strategically located weights that can be used to adjust a golf club’s vibration and response characteristics and can be installed on any brand of golf equipment and any club in the bag. Balance-Certified’s scientific approach to golf club dynamics helps transform “feel” into a definable and tunable parameter. Independent testing has demonstrated that the Balance-Certified Golf system delivers increased ball speed in drivers, greater iron play control and a tangible benefit in “feel” and distance control of putters.
