POWAY, Calif. – Aldila captured the wood and hybrid shaft manufacturer counts at the Fort Smith Classic on the Nationwide Tour this weekend and dominated the hybrid count at The Players Championship, according to the Darrell Survey.
At the Fort Smith Classic on the Nationwide Tour, “The Hottest Shafts in Golf” won the wood shaft manufacturer count with 35 percent of the field choosing Aldila and they dominated the hybrid shaft count recording more than 3-to-1 ratio of their graphite shafts in play than the next competitor.
PGA Tour players at The Players Championship chose Aldila’s hybrid shafts by more than a 2-to-1 margin over the next leading shaft manufacturer.
Aldila is not only the most popular hybrid shaft on the Tour, but they are also the number one brand of graphite shafts for consumers with new drivers, fairway woods and hybrid clubs for the third consecutive year, according to the Darrel Survey, 2007 U.S. National Survey.
“Aldila has the unique ability to define the intangibles of the game of golf,” said Stewart Bahl, Aldila’s Marketing Manager. “To translate numbers into theory, theory into practice, and practice into perfection. We do the experimenting so you don’t have to. Pushing success to the edge and redefining how power should feel. Are you playing Aldila, or just graphite?”
