May 15, 2008, Cumming, GA — For the second time this year, Turf Evolutions and MacCurrach Golf Construction completed one of the largest synthetic tee lines in the country at TPC Sawgrass.
The UltraTee synthetic tee line is 13 feet deep by 529 feet long, totaling 6,877 square feet. The turf is installed over a crushed stone base, and has a one foot TruGrass Matrix fringe around the hitting surface to protect it from maintenance procedures on the natural turf in front.
