FREE Day Of Golf Activities For The Entire Family Is Part Of Marriott’s International Family Golf Festival Program
GALLOWAY, N.J. – May 21, 2008 – Seaview Resort & Spa, A Marriott Resort, one of the premier resort destinations in the Northeast, today announced that it will be hosting the Philadelphia PGA Section’s Play Golf America Day on Saturday, May 31, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event is part of Marriott’s International Family Golf Festival program, a worldwide initiative to promote family togetherness through the game of golf.
Throughout the day, guests at Seaview will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of exciting golf activities, highlighted by free 10 minute lessons from Section PGA Professionals. In addition, a number of vendors including Callaway, Nike, Bridgestone, U.S. Kids Golf and Taylor Made will be onsite to showcase their newest products.
Other activities at Seaview will include putting & long drive contests, food & beverage specials and hourly prizes and giveaways including a 2008 Twilight Membership, golf/spa packages, merchandise and more! Further, as part of Marriott Golf’s Kids Golf-4-Free program, kids 15 and under will be able to play golf for free on the Pines Course after 4 p.m. In addition, Seaview’s exciting new QOLF course will be set-up for the day. This unique South African game is a cross between golf and croquet, and is a great introduction to the game of golf for anyone, at any age!
2008 marks the Philadelphia Section’s fourth Play Golf America Day and the first at Seaview Resort & Spa. Play Golf America Day was previously held at Hartefeld National in 2005 – 2006 and at Wood’s Golf Center in 2007 – 2008.
