PortaPro Video's 360-degrees bullet camera enhances teaching forever

Record lessons; capture rounds of golf right on the cart

COLUMBUS, Neb. – The PortaPro Video system, featuring a miniature bullet camera that rotates 360-degrees, will enhance the way the golf swing is taught and learned forever.
The PortaPro Video system is installed on a golf cart eliminating any cumbersome tripods and the camera doesn’t start recording until the foot brake is engaged, so there’s no delay in the pace of play.
The bullet camera records the lesson with a 3.6mm lens and delivers a clear video (ultra high 470 line resolution) of the recording. The system includes real time audio and digital video that records a full frame shot from 12-15 feet away. Immediately following the end of the lesson, this footage can be easily burned on to a DVD with just a push of a button. With the DVD in hand, students can review the lesson at home and work on swing points the instructor suggested. The camera, which weighs just one half ounce, operates in temperatures as low as 20 below zero and as high as 122 F.
Gone are the days when the instructor had to break the flow of his lesson to change the angle of the VHS camera on a tripod. Now, the instructor and the student can benefit from a flowing, coherent, well-structured lesson.
“With the simplicity of the PortaPro Video, said Ben Alexander, the Award-winning PGA Teacher of the Year at Poppy Hills Golf Course in Pebble Beach, Cal., “the instructor can review what was covered during the lesson and go over what the student needs to work on between lessons. Everything is recorded on a DVD the student takes home after the lesson.”
The PortaPro Video system also provides an opportunity to generate revenue for the pro shop. Because the PortaPro Video system is fully integrated into the cart, golfers can record their entire round. No longer does a golfer have to tell friends about the great course they played or the miraculous shot they made. They can show the DVD.
The PortaPro Video system can also be used for tournaments and outings. Set up a PortaPro Video on a signature par 3 and capture all the action. Participants can receive a DVD on the spot, or an edited “tournament version” following the event. Courses and resorts benefit by having the opportunity to customize the DVD cover to include a promotional message.
Resorts and courses alike can also benefit from the PortaPro Video system as a major part of their security system. Park a cart equipped with the PortaPro Video system in a vulnerable spot on the property and you’ll have an accurate record of what transpired while the area was unmanned.
Versatile, state-of-the-art high technology and immediate positive results are three of the reasons why the PortaPro Video has been acclaimed as the biggest advancement in video instruction.
