Ponte Vedra Beach, FL (May 29, 2008) – Leta Lindley and Jeff Klauk were both victorious over Memorial Day Weekend on the LPGA and Nationwide Tours, respectively. Both players carry ProQuip Weatherwear into competition.
Lindley won the LPGA Corning Classic in a playoff over Jeong Jang. It was her first victory on tour and a finish that sky-rocketed her from 45th to 9th on the First Half ADT Points list.
Klauk also earned his first victory at the Melwood Prince George’s County Open on the Nationwide Tour stop in suburban Maryland. He birdied the final hole to earn the win and dodge a playoff with runner-up Jeff Brehaut. Klauk is the son of Fred Klauk, the greens superintendent at TPC Sawgrass, located just minted from ProQuip’s U.S. headquarters in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL.
Lindley and Klauk are part of an ever-growing number of professional golfers who count on ProQuip in the event of inclement weather in tour competition.
“We extend our sincere congratulations to Leta and Jeff, and are proud that they have chosen ProQuip to keep them comfortable and dry on tour,” says Randy Payne, ProQuip vice president of sales.
