Norcross, GA (June 5, 2008) – Mizuno USA Inc., maker of the #1 forged irons in golf, recently announced the winners of the “Demo The Difference” promotion, in which consumers could demo the Mizuno MP-57 or MX-950 irons, of the Mizuno MP-600 or MX-950 drivers between March 2008 and May 2008 to be entered to win a trip for them and three of their golf buddies on an eight day/seven night trip to Scotland including tickets to the final two days of the 2008 British Open at Royal Birkdale. In addition to the Grand Prize, two First Prize winners took home either an MP or MX equipment prize package from Mizuno which consisted of their choice of either an MP-600 or MX-950 driver, two F-60 fairway woods, their choice of either MP-57 or MX-950 irons, an MP T Series wedge, a Mizuno Bettinardi Black Carbon putter, and a Mizuno golf bag of their choice. 10 second-prize winners got their choice of either a MP-600 driver or a MX-560 driver, and 15 third-prize winners took home a Mizuno Grain Flow Forged MP T Series wedge.
The winner of the Grand Prize trip to Scotland is Nelson Hwang, a firefighter for the town of Hamden, Connecticut. Mizuno will be providing airfare, accommodations at the Westin Turnberry Resort and The Atlantic Tower Liverpool, rounds of golf at Royal Troon, Prestwick, and Turnberry Ailsa, and four tickets to the final two days of the 2008 British Open. Mr. Hwang has already selected the three lucky friends that will be accompanying him on this once in a lifetime golf experience.
