#1 Brand on Tour Wins on PGA Tour for 13th Straight Week
Marlborough, MA-June 9th, 2008 – CHAMP Spikes, the number one brand on Tour, continued its dominance with another successful weekend on the PGA Tour as its Scorpion StingerTM claimed victory at the Stanford St. Jude Championship in Memphis, Tennessee. The win continues a remarkable run of success for CHAMP, as its spikes have been used by the past 13 winners on the PGA Tour.
CHAMP Spikes’ Q-LOK System helped the winner secure victory in a two-hole playoff; his 12th career PGA Tour title. CHAMP was the spike of choice this weekend as two of the top-three finishers, including the current Masters champion, relied on CHAMP’s Q-LOK system. Additionally, an astounding 71% of the players who chose CHAMP switched from the original spikes that came in their shoes.
