ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – Adams Golf and Razor Golf both chose the 18th Annual ING Spring Conference to help launch new metalwoods. And according to the attendees, they both have produced big winners.
The Idea Pro Gold Hybrid by Adams Golf and the Carnivore Mutation Driver from Razor Golf finished tied for first in the Products category of the ING Conference Best awards program. Golfing Magazine, a national publication with regional covers, was voted No. 1 by attendees in the Publications category.
The ING Spring Conference is conducted by the non-profit International Network of Golf. The annual gathering of media and business leaders was conducted in Atlantic City, NJ. The next gathering is the 7th ING Fall Forum in Las Vegas Aug. 24-27 in conjunction with the PGA Fall Expo.
The Idea Pro Gold Hybrid utilizes advanced geometric shaping (known as Boxer Technology) an improved maraging steel face and an enhanced weighting system that combine to deliver a new standard in hybrids designed for elite players. Adams Golf made improvements to its Idea Pro Hybrid, which has been the No. 1 hybrid played on all men’s tours, by offering 5 percent more forgiveness on off-center hits with a 10 percent improvement in launch conditions while retaining the look, feel and workability that better players want.
“It’s a great honor to have our product named “Best Of Conference” by the members of the ING,” said Jeff Wood, Marketing Communications Manager of Adams Golf. “The ING Spring Conference is a tremendously valuable time for many of us in the golf industry and we are thankful for this recognition. We developed the Idea Pro Gold hybrid to be unmatched in the category and the absolute No. 1 choice for better players. The positive response so far has exceeded our expectations.”
The Carnivore Mutation Driver and Fairway Woods utilize the principle of placing the center of the concentration of mass directly in line with the center of the impact zone. This means a greater portion of the headweight is pushed out farther from the center of gravity creating a higher moment of inertia (MOI), thus lowering a clubhead’s ability to twist during off center hits. These clubs are designed for the 26 million golfers who do not hit it in the middle every time resulting in longer, more accurate shots. The drivers are made from forged titanium and are available in lofts of 9.0 degrees and 10.5 degrees.
Razor Golf has been a member of the International Network of Golf for six years. “The ING is the best organization that we have ever been associated. If we had only one association we could align ourselves with, the ING would certainly be that organization”, said Michael R. Vandiver, Executive Vice President.
Founded in 1999, Golfing Magazine gives you the best of both worlds – a national golf magazine which highlights product evaluations, destination features, and a Reader’s Test Center; and a regional magazine that targets avid golfers in the country’s most active “hot beds” of golf. Golfing Magazine is the only national golf magazine containing a regional section that speaks to golfers in major golf markets.
