Caring for Cashmere has never been easier
Daymond Willis Holdings, Inc., Guntersville, AL announced today a major technological breakthrough from their Peter Scott sweater brand.
“Customers who appreciate cashmere have forever been in awe of how to take care of it and how to protect their investment.” said Russell Fair, Sales Director, Peter Scott “After spending hundreds of dollars, cashmere wearers in the past have had to put up with the trouble and expense of dry cleaning their garments. As of today, Peter Scott has liberated them with advent of Total Easycare™ cashmere.” added Fair. All of Peter Scott’s most popular weight, 21 gauge, sweaters will now be made using this unique process.
A special finishing process has been developed that allows for the cashmere sweaters to be washed in a standard washing machine and then to simply be tumbled dry. “This is an exceptional breakthrough in the cleaning of cashmere sweaters. Not only does it take the fear out of the handling of these fine garments, but also makes it easier for serious players to care for the sweaters while traveling.” said Phillip Daymond, CFO Daymond Willis.
Peter Scott has been known as a supplier of the finest cashmere sweaters in the world for over 130 years. The secret is selecting the absolutely finest fibers, processing the yarn in the water from the river Tweed in Scotland, because it is the softest water in the world, and having a demanding manufacturing process with over 65 separate steps, producing uncompromising quality. Peter Scott represents the pinnacle of what over 170 dedicated artisans from Scotland can produce.
