CRYSTAL RIVER, FL (June 17, 2008) – Plantation Golf Resort has announced plans to participate in “Take Your Daughter to the Course Week” being held July 7 – 13, 2008.
“Plantation Golf Resort continues to support programs which increase youth’s exposure to the game of golf,” said Jimmie Brothers, Plantation’s Director of Golf. “It is our hope that young girls not only have a fun time on the golf course, but are also introduced to the rules and etiquette of the game.”

Take Your Daughter to the Course Week, now in its ninth year, was developed by the National Golf Course Owners Association and is part of Play Golf America, an industry-wide effort to grow the game.
