Company Veteran to Continue Q-Link Brand Expansion in Golf, Wellness, Lifestyle Markets
(LARKSPUR, California) – Clarus Transphase Scientific, Inc. – developer and manufacturer of the popular line of Q-Link products worn by more than 350 Tour players worldwide, including several major championship winners – announces the promotion of Richard Gray to President and CEO.
Clarus COO since 2001, Gray has been a key component of the company’s evolution into one of the world’s leading providers of field based technologies for the golf, wellness and lifestyle markets. He will continue to work from Clarus headquarters in Larkspur, CA, overseeing all company operations while also focusing on further expansion of domestic and global partnerships.
“This is a tremendous opportunity to lead one of the industry’s most dynamic company’s and help people of all ages improve their overall wellness through the benefits of Q-Link and our proprietary SRT-3 technology,” says Gray. “We’ve experienced tremendous success in recent years but are still in the early stages of achieving the much larger goal of having our products used by one percent of the world’s population.”
A graduate of the University of Edinburgh and the Investment Management program at the London Business School, Gray spent 10 years as an investment banker trading G10 financial markets in London, culminating in management of a $1.5 billion hedge fund. He co-founded Q-Link International Ltd in 1999, which subsequently won the exclusive rights to distribute Q-Link products in the UK and Scandinavia, and took up a position at Clarus global headquarters in 2001.
“Clarus has chosen an exemplary leader to take the necessary steps to make both SRT-3 technology and Q-Link household names,” says Clarus Founder and Chairman Robert O. Williams. “The choice was obvious to all who have witnessed his extraordinary commitment and amazing ability to ascertain the best strategies and actions to fulfill our company’s mission.”
Proven through rigorous independent scientific testing to help golfers – and athletes in virtually every sport – improve performance via increased focus, stamina and awareness, Q-Link bracelets and pendants feature new resonating crystalline wafers with enhanced materials. Retailing at $129.95 for stainless steel and $199.95 for the polished/black titanium models, the bracelets are available in a variety of sizes.
When worn together as a system, the Q-Link bracelets and pendants provide the ultimate on- and off-course benefits available from SRT (Sympathetic Resonance Technology). This helps restore natural balance to players of all ages and abilities, facilitating the peak mental and physical performance needed to improve scoring.
Q-Link products are the necessary and often coveted accessory of many top PGA, LPGA and Champions Tour players, who openly credit the winning edge SRT gives them in competition. They have been worn by more than 350 Tour players worldwide, and served a key role in more than 120 Tour wins – including a British Open, U.S. Women’s Open, U.S. Senior Open and Women’s British Open.
In addition to promoting faster recovery from bad shots, reducing first tee jitters and even the yips, the new line of Q-Link bracelets and popular pendants are known to promote better overall sleep and alleviate symptoms of jet lag common among today’s international Tour players, business and leisure travelers. They are also shown to decrease the negative effects from popular electronics, such as mobile phones and computers.
