Nike staffer from Huntsville Alabama continued his strong play in 2008 with a one shot victory at the TPC River Highlands golf course in Cromwell CT. Weathering a thunderstorm and an early round bogey, he shot an impressive 3 under par 67 for his 5th career victory. His victory along with 7 top 10 finishes this year has moved him into 3rd place in the FedEx cup point standings and solidifying his position as one of the worlds top players.
Using a Nike Sumo SQD 9.5 driver custom fit with an ACCRA XE80 and 2 Nike Sumo fairway woods equipped with ACCRA XE 80’s he averaged more than 299 yards off the tee, good for 10th place in the field and 82.1% of his fairways, good for 4th place.
