Itasca, IL (June 23, 2008) Kenny Perry, staff player for the Zero Friction Performance Golf Tee and Tocarè Grip, had a solid performance at the Travelers Championship this past weekend at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, CT. After a well deserved week off, Perry finished tied for 6th place at 13 under par, for his fourth best finish this season. With his sixth place finish, Perry has finished sixth or better in three of the last five events he has entered.
Perry’s strong performance with the Zero Friction Tee in Cromwell put him in 15th place in driving distance with distances of 297.5, 277.3, 290.0 and 297.0 for an average of 290.5 yards. He is now in 21st place overall in driving distance, putting him into the top 10% after 17 events. Perry moved up to 5th place in FedEx Cup standings after this weekend and will be looking to continue his stellar play this coming week at the Buick Open at Warwick Hills Golf and Country Club in. Joining Perry in the field this week at Warwick Hills will be Zero Friction and Tocaré staff players Dean Wilson and Ryan Palmer.
