HARVEST, Ala. (June 26, 2008) – Balance-Certified Golf, developer of the number one shaft weighting system on Tour, continues to produce strong results on all the professional golf Tours. Balance-Certified’s Pro-Balance weighting system was used by the winner as well as the second place finisher of the Duramed Championship at the Golf Center at Kings Island. The winner drained a challenging 30 foot putt to birdie the 18th hole and lock in the win with her Balance-Certified equipped putter. This was her first win and she accomplished it with a strong 9 under par performance. In fact, five players used Balance-Certified’s products to finish in the top 27.
In other Tour news, Balance-Certified staff player Tom Jenkins finished T11 at the Champions Tour’s Bank of America Championship in Concord, Massachusetts. He averaged just 27.7 putts per round and 1.703 putts per green in regulation. Balance-Certified also had four players finish in the top 33 at the Nation Wide Tour’s Knoxville Open.
Jeff Lindner, Balance Certified’s President, noted, “We are very pleased with our consistent week after week performance on Tour. Tour success validates our technologies. Club fitters that choose to use our products have confidence in our technologies because of our long standing record on Tour. For us, our eight years on Tour have served as ultimate proving ground.”
Balance-Certified Golf, which is in use at many custom club fitting facilities in the U.S. and abroad, was selected among the ‘Best of Show’ products by Golfing Magazine in its “PGA Show Wrap-Up.” Balance-Certified Golf is garnering praise for how its attention to golf club vibration and feel leads to more satisfied golfers of every playing ability. Golfers all over the world who are being introduced to the Balance-Certified Pro-Balance system are experiencing the immediate improvement in shotmaking and feel that the system produces.
Balance-Certified Golf’s industry-leading back-weighting technology was developed by a former NASA engineering team in 1999. The Pro-Balance line introduces strategically-located weights that can be used to adjust a golf club’s vibration and response characteristics and can be installed on any brand of golf equipment and any club in the bag. Balance-Certified’s scientific approach to golf club dynamics helps transform “feel” into a definable and tunable parameter. Independent testing has demonstrated that the Balance-Certified Golf system delivers increased ball speed in drivers, greater iron play control and a tangible benefit in “feel” and distance control of putters.
Balance-Certified Golf’s Pro-Balance weighting system and power rings can be installed by club fitters or by individual golfers with the self-fit kit. Balance-Certified Golf systems can be found at many retail golf shops across the U.S. and elsewhere.
