Course Welcomes Young Golfers to Learn from PGA Staff
(DELAND, Fla.) – Victoria Hills Golf Club – the award-winning Ron Garl design located in Victoria Park, a St. Joe community in DeLand – will hold a series of summer junior camps in July and August.
Young golfers (ages 8-15) are invited to participate in any of three camps – July 8-11, July 22-25 and August 12-15. The four-day camps cost $99 per junior and run from 9-11 a.m. each day, with instruction from Victoria Hills’ PGA staff. Each professional will teach a maximum of seven juniors per group, allowing for more individually focused instruction than many camps. Each session will finish with a tennis ball relay race on Victoria Hills’ first hole.
Victoria Hills will also host a Little Tykes Camp (ages 4-7) on July 25-26. Instruction sessions last two hours per day; the fee is $30 per player.
