BARCELONA, SPAIN – PuttingZone Coach James Marshall (at right) announces the launching of his website www.jamesmarshallgolf.com and a series of upcoming putting clinics in conjunction with Geoff Mangum and the PuttingZone for Barcelona area golfers 20-31 October 2008.
The new website showcases the golf instruction of James Marshall and his Golf Barcelona School and the golf complex at the exclusive Hotel Golf Can Rafel in the mountains overlooking Barcelona. In addition to a full slate of golf instruction and the specialized PuttingZone clinics and lessons (including full-week packages with accommodations and meals at the Hotel), Marshall offers a program of golf and English language learning services. In addition to his qualifications as a golf instructor through the Spanish Golf Federation, Marshall is also an authorized instructor of The Golfing Machine, a certified coach in Geoff Mangum’s PuttingZone, and trained in Mac O’Grady’s MORAD system. For his English language services, Marshall also holds a Master’s Degree in the Teaching of English to Students of Other Languages from the University of London as well as the RSA Diploma from the University of Cambridge.
In March 2008, Marshall and Geoff Mangum presented a series of PuttingZone Clinics at Hotel Golf Can Rafel, Can Cuyas Golf Club, and Saint Joan Golf Club, for area professionals and players. This Fall between October 20 and 31, Marshall and Mangum will again be presenting a full calendar of PuttingZone Clinics throughout Barcelona and wider Catalonia. Marshall says: “The Spring PuttingZone Clinics were a great success with more than 60 people attending over the four days. Geoff divides the task of putting into its four constituent skills: reading, aim, stroke mechanics and distance control (touch) and he has developed drills for practising each one of the four skills independently.
