The industry’s hot topics and key business issues are the essence of more than 20 business and education seminars being presented for influential golf business leaders, PGA Professionals and retailers at the 2008 PGA Fall Expo, Aug. 26-27, at Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The PGA of America, Association of Golf Merchandisers and PGA Golf Exhibitions have developed a full schedule of seminars at the annual PGA Fall Expo to include topics such as “Creating Five-Star Customer Service,” “Five Key Strategies to Become a Top 100 Golf Shop,” “Green Grass Golf Shops Can Compete,” and “Why Isn’t Your Golf Shop a Growing Profit Center”.

The PGA Fall Expo education conference will be offered August 26-27, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Industry professionals may view the complete calendar of education sessions and register to attend the education conference at www.pgaexpo.com. A full conference pass including unlimited seminars throughout the conference and all course materials is available to PGA Professionals for $135 and to non-PGA Professionals for $160. A single session pass is available for $85.
PGA Professionals are able to earn up to 18 MSR (Member Service Requirement) credits through their participation in the education conference, Demo Day, PGA Fall Expo, free PGA Member Business Center seminars and The PGA of America Town Hall Meeting.
The PGA Fall Expo annually attracts more than 4,000 international golf retailers and some 400 top golf vendors to the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas. In 2008, the PGA Fall Expo moves to “fashion week” in Las Vegas and is held on the same days as MAGIC™, MODA™, MRkt®, and ACCESSORIES: The Show®*. The PGA Fall Expo is packed with product discovery, equipment testing, career education programs, professional networking events and opportunities to source unique vendors and merchandise. Additionally, the PGA Fall Expo Golf Tournament and Demo Day, Aug. 25 at Badlands Golf Club, has been expanded to include more than 40 equipment and golf accessories vendors and two tournaments with cash-prize awards for the top finishers.
