POWAY, Calif. – Using Aldila’s NV™ shafts in all of his woods and hybrid clubs in his PGA Tour debut, the winner of the U.S. Bank Championship in Milwaukee notched his first victory while carding a hole-in-one on the first day of the tournament setting the tone for the rest of the event. He birdied three of his last four holes Sunday to shoot a 6-under par 64 finishing at 16-under par and claimed a $720,000 first prize check.
With Aldila’s NVS in her driver, the winner of the LPGA State Farm Classic became the sixth Rolex First-Time Winner of the 2008 LPGA Tour season. The South Korean also used Aldila’s NV hybrid shaft to help her shoot a 66-66-66-72=270, -18. She tapped in a par putt on the first hole of a sudden-death playoff to capture the victory and $255,000.
The Aldila NV and NVS feature exclusive aerospace materials and incorporate Aldila’s exclusive Micro Laminate TechnologyTM that provides players with enhanced power, consistent flex and precise feel. The dampening advantages of the Micro Laminate Technology have eliminated distracting and destructive “shock”. The result is a slim, stable design that maximizes distance, improves accuracy and offers the “perfect feel” the NV and NVS are famous for.
Aldila isn’t just a golf company; it’s a materials-science think tank that’s constantly researching the potential of physical and chemical compounds. They discover them first so you don’t have to wait until tomorrow to improve your game.
